Your journey from Lyon Airport to Samoëns
The journey and traffic
Allow approximately 2 hours 20 minutes for your journey from Lyon Airport to Samoëns in good traffic conditions. Traffic and poor weather can increase this estimate. If any part of your Saturday journey overlaps the typical 16:00–19:00 busy period towards ski resorts, allow an additional 30 minutes for the drive. This is particularly relevant during winter resort changeovers, rather than an allowance needed for every Saturday transfer.
